Terms of Service

Terms and conditions governing our Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), ensuring transparency, IP protection, and quality assurance for a successful partnership.

Scope of Services

These terms apply to all Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provided by ACE Electronics: Professional EMS & Turnkey PCBA Factory ("Supplier") to the purchasing entity ("Client"). Our comprehensive service scope includes:

  • PCB Assembly: SMT (0201, BGA, FPGA), THT, and mixed technology assembly.
  • Supply Chain: Procurement of PCBs and electronic components from authorized sources.
  • Box Build: Enclosure fabrication, final mechanical assembly, and retail packaging.
  • Value-Added: IC Programming, Conformal Coating (Acrylic/Parylene), and FCT.

Orders & Commercial Rules

A

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)

We specialize in High-Mix, Low-Volume production. While there is no strict MOQ for PCB Assembly labor, component sourcing is subject to distributor Minimum Pack Quantities (MPQ). Surplus components can be stored in our warehouse for up to 12 months free of charge.

Lead Time & Delivery

Standard assembly lead time is 10-15 working days after all kits are ready. Full turnkey project timelines depend on the longest lead-time component in the BOM. We support EXW Shenzhen, FOB, or DAP shipping via DHL/FedEx.

Custom Terms: Tooling & IP

Intellectual Property Protection

We sign a strictly binding Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). All design files (Gerber, BOM, Firmware) remain the sole property of the Client. ACE Tech guarantees not to re-use, sell, or share your designs with any third party.

Tooling Ownership

All custom tooling paid for by the Client belongs to the Client, including:

  • SMT Stencils
  • Injection Molds
  • Test Fixtures (FCT/ICT)
  • PCB E-Test Fixtures

Storage & Life Cycle

We store and maintain client tooling free of charge for 2 years from the last order date. Molds are maintained for their guaranteed shot life (e.g., 300k shots) with routine cleaning and lubrication.

Quality & After-Sales

Inspection Standards

Unless otherwise specified, all assembly is inspected according to IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards. Class 3 inspection is available upon request for medical and automotive projects (IATF16949/ISO13485 compliant).

Notification

Client notifies defects within 30 days of receipt.

Analysis (8D)

We provide 8D report within 5 working days.

Free rework, replacement, or credit refund.
